In the past, the cam connecting rod assembly was composed of a cam, connecting rod, and needle roller assembly. Different parts had certain tolerances on the mating surfaces, making it difficult for needle roller bearings to fit. Moreover, needle roller bearings were not suitable for high-speed rotation and required regular lubrication. In order to solve this problem, our company pioneered the research of cam connecting rod combined bearing, replacing sliding friction with rolling friction, which greatly improved the combination precision and service life of the bearing. According to previous failure data statistics of needle bearings, over 80% of them are due to improper matching of the inner raceway of the connecting rod, the needle, and the outer raceway of the cam, resulting in poor rotation of the needle, temperature rise, and lubrication failure. Causing needle roller bearings to fail to meet the rated service life requirements.
