Embroidery machines demand extremely smooth and high-speed rotation within a very limited installation space. However, traditional bearing solutions often face several issues:

               

  • Machine running speed is restricted by the bearing's rotational limit.

  • Needle roller bearings are commonly used due to their load capacity and compact size — but they come with trade-offs:

    • High friction and heat generation limit maximum speed.

    • Open designs cause lubricant leakage during high-speed rotation, requiring regular re-greasing and maintenance.


These issues lead to lower productivity, more downtime, and unstable machine performance.


Root Causes and Impacts                

While needle roller bearings handle high loads well, their large contact area increases friction, generating heat under high RPM conditions.


At the same time, the open structure allows grease to escape, leading to insufficient lubrication and premature wear.


As a result:

  • Bearing speed and machine efficiency are limited.

  • Temperature rise shortens service life.

  • Maintenance intervals increase, raising operating costs.

To solve these issues, we developed a custom integrated bearing solution specifically for embroidery machines.

               

Without changing the external dimensions or mounting structure, we redesigned the internal mechanism:

  • Rolling elements replaced by precision steel balls → greatly reduce friction and heat generation.

  • Fully sealed structure → prevents lubricant leakage and enables lifelong lubrication.

  • Optimized internal clearance and precision machining → doubles the achievable speed under the same load.

This design maintains compatibility with existing machine assemblies while providing significantly improved performance.
